Photos from Viracocha Gallery
here are some pictures from the show on January 30th, at Viracocha Gallery (Valencia and 21st, by ATA)

I wish there were pictures from the acoustic show we did at Dog Eared Books- I played on baby toy drums while Ramona and Ash sat on Dora the Explorer kiddy chairs.

Music Video!
We just started filming the music video for the song 'Quite Polite' today, in the Marina woodlands. They are very spooky after dark.
By the way, if you speed the song up to 250%, it sounds like squirrel techno. Which is not in the least bit spooky.
Also, Mary-Kate and Ashley, come on. Holiday in the sun? That was just as series of montages, usually montaging scenes from previous montages. Also, there was an entire subplot that broke the 4th wall (or the 3rd wall, or whatever wall it is) at the end.
But whatever, I won Settlers of Catan for the second time ever tonight.
And the music video is really cool.

Write Up on SF Gate!
"Quite Polite - They'll Pop Your Bubblegum Bubble
Quite Polite explodes as a brilliant and fun indie rock band. Hey Kill Rock Stars, you better put something out by Quite Polite, they're up your alley. Roisin Isner from Tinkture is in the band, and she's quickly becoming local indie rock royalty.

What used to make me excited as a college radio DJ in the '90s was getting 7" vinyl from bands who sounded exactly like this.
There's a little Miranda July influence and a whole lot of bubble gum garage.
I want more.
Seriously, check Quite Polite out.
Performing Saturday @ The Secret Alley, 180 Capp St. on February 6th."

The Blog
After much deliberation, sweat, tears, and html, we have this nifty little blog. Thank you to Ramona for the vignette'd header image, a group effort lead to the miraculous scrolling slideshow, and we hope all future entries will be equally dazzling. More likely, this page will accumulate a barrage of drunken ramblings.
Stay tuned!
xoxo
